“During our Forest School sessions, the children experience a breadth of activities, from pond dipping, bug hunting, roasting marshmallows on an open fire and spotting the signs of the changing seasons. Through these experiences, the children connect with nature and learn how important our environment around us is. This also naturally encourages respect, perseverance, emotional intelligence and a community that works together. We can’t wait to see what changes each season brings to our very special Forest School site.”
Rachel Mannal – Forest School Leader
Forest School is now in full swing and the children just love getting outdoors and experiencing the beauty of this wonderful village in all its elements. Sessions run on a Thursday morning in a secure, local site in Ewelme. Rachel, our very own highly qualified and experienced Forest School Leader, leads the sessions alongside the other members of staff from the preschool.
