Due to the Coronavirus outbreak we have been instructed to close the preschool until further notice.
Please note that this is a national closure – as you may have heard in the news – so while it is a challenging situation, we are not alone. We’ll re-open fully as soon as we can and will let you know when this is by email or through updates on the school website.
I realise some children will be starting school in September so will liaise with parents as to what you can do at home in the interim. We hope to be able to pass on their learning journals (at a later date) to give parents an idea of what they have achieved thus far whilst attending preschool.
This is as much as we know right now and we appreciate your continued patience as we deal with this ever-changing situation. We understand that this latest news will have an impact on you and your family and it’s far from ideal, but we’ll continue to keep in touch with any updates as the situation develops.
And remember: if you or your child feels ill and you want to know what to do next, please use NHS 111 online.
Thank you again for your continued support, and we will be in touch with more information when we can.
Kerry & team.

Macmillan Coffee Morning – Friday 27th September 2019
Thank you to everyone who baked and donated for the coffee morning, and thank you for those who came along for a cuppa and some cake, we raised a very impressive £118.80. Charlotte Harston was the winner of the cake thanks to her guessing the amount of buttons – there were actually 1069! A big thank you to Nicki Climpson for hosting it again this year.
Ewelme Village Preschool has been rated “outstanding” by Ofsted. The inspection found the preschool to be “vibrant”, “exciting”, and an environment where children “flourish” and are “happy, secure, fully involved and confident”.
