Policies

Ewelme Village Preschool has a set of policies and procedures that is reviewed regularly by the management committee and staff. The policies and procedures are available for review by parents and carers in the Policies and Procedures Manual at the preschool . If you wish to see a copy please let us know.

Please note:

Illness & Accidents

Parents must notify the preschool if their child has an infectious illness. Children with infectious illnesses should not be in preschool. If a child has sickness or diarrhoea, he/she must be clear of their symptoms for at least 48 hours before returning to preschool. Preschool staff can administer medicine, with written permission detailing the timing and dosage for each occasion.

Photography

Our policies state that no mobile phones are to be used in the preschool room by parents or visitors. Anyone taking photographs of their child at a preschool event must not publish these images (including on social networking sites) if the image includes another child, without seeking the other parents’ permission.

Collecting Children

If anyone other than a parent or authorised carer is collecting your child, you must ensure that this is noted in the Child Collection Record by a member of staff. The collecting adult will then be asked to sign the record (if they are unknown to staff they will be required to produce identification).
